In circle we shared our personal and collective gratitude + abundance + love, in meditations and rituals for all that we have in our lives, no matter how small or simple they may feel, so that we were able to radiate in the frequency of gratitude + abundance + love for we are to receive in our lives in the future.

Lughnasadh, named after the Sun God Lugh, is an ancient Irish festival, an energy of celebration and gathering around the fire with our ancestors, and a time of blessings for the abundance in our lives, the joy of summer and early harvests with early autumn incoming.

This is about trust, that the harvest will come, which brings the wisdom and allows for inner knowing.

The end of life is represented beautifully and wholesomely with the early seasonal fruits. The ripe fruit a symbol of the growth and life cycle of the tree as it once again it returns after another year around the sun this is the remembering of our own lives and how the cycle of wheel of the year turns and we move, grow, change, live and die with it.

The message is BE READY for your harvest and all it embodies - joy, fullness, wholeness, richness, life force, colour, nourishment, presence. For we do not know exactly, but we know when we have set the intention and taken the conscious actions, and done the work that our harvest will arrive and when it comes we need to be ready to grasp it, hold it, enjoy it, embody it, celebrate it. If we are not conscious it may pass or feelings of lack may mean we miss it or don’t feel it like we can. So, get ready for the harvest in your life and all you’ve created for it will come. This is a turning point in the wheel of the year to recommit to it all, incredibly important to healing, as they stimulate growth and development.

This time was part of a way of life that our ancestors knew was the medicine for regulation, healing, power, wisdom, abundance and alignment.

Abundance is an act of balance and harmony. A gift of trust, nurture, light, love. It’s autumn energy as welcome it in. The sacred feminine energy in her power of creation and birth. The sacred masculine energy of the power of life force and how it manifests the harvest in our life. It’s the rhythm of nature.

Like our ancestors, we will gather together to revel and behold gratitude for what the summer has brought and also to realign in balance, and recommit to our intentions. Meditation with our angels, guides, goddess energy; rituals, dancing and music is also enjoyed around the fire. It is a wonderful time to realign our energy and raise the vibrations behind them for harmony for all. This is medicine for the soul as we remember how these ancient rituals help us to live in rhythm, balance and harmony as we realign with the seasons in the therapeutic setting in nature. This is an evening to be held in community around the fire.
